What Do You Believe?

Kevin Bailey doesn't believe in ghosts.

He doesn't believe in God.

And he certainly doesn't believe that anything is waiting in the dark.

But Kevin knows one thing: people believe what they want to believe.

Determined to prove just how easily fear can manipulate the human mind, Kevin recruits three college students for an experiment disguised as a paranormal investigation. The plan is simple.

Turn off the lights.

Tell them a story.

Make them believe.

A little suggestion here. A carefully planted fear there. Tell a young woman she's bleeding. Tell a grieving man his dead brother is coming for him. Tell the self-proclaimed witch that something is lurking just beyond the reach of the flashlight.

Soon, the experiment is working.

Too well.

Because when the lights go out and the stories begin, Kevin starts to wonder if he has truly been controlling the fear...

Or if something else has been listening.

Something that knows exactly what they believe.

Something that has been waiting for them to close their eyes.
